Our Story

Jake had just been hired as the very first employee in Arizona to work in Asset Management for Countrywide. He had only met one person who flew out from California to train him. Everyone he had to work with was in Simi Valley while he was all the way in Chandler. Amanda needed to train him further but Jake hadn’t even seen her face so he didn’t feel comfortable with talking to her. Amanda started asking him silly questions to get him to open up a bit and become more comfortable with working with her. Jake had Amanda bursting out with laughter in a matter of minutes. Eventually she asked him if he wanted to see what she looked like. Jake didn’t really care but she sent him a picture to his personal email address anyway. The two started emailing each other three times a day. Eventually they both confessed they liked each other. Weeks later Jake drove to Hunnington beach to meet Amanda face to face for the very first time. Amanda drove to Hunnington beach extremely scared and nervous. She gets off the freeway and immediately notices her favorite things. She takes this as a good sign and began to feel warm in her heart. Jake calls her and spots her by the beach but she couldn’t see him. Amanda was so nervous she had to turn to look at the ocean. Jake came up from behind her and she felt his arm wrap around her body. They looked into eat others eyes and it was pure awkwardness from that point on. Jake drove home to Arizona thinking about Amanda the entire way. The next encounter was Amanda’s very first visit to Arizona. Jake took her hand and told her she was it. Amanda drove home to California and half way home she too knew he was the one.
